Lagatia Corp. Conducting Southwestern United States Launch of Revolutionary Restaurant Financial Analysis Tool for Use with Virtually Any Current POS

Dallas, TX (PRWEB) August 2, 2008 -- Ke'o Velasquez, founder of Lagatia Corporation, announced it will be conducting their Southwestern United States Launch of Lagatia software in the 4th quarter of 2008. The launch will involve up to 12,000 new unit accounts by 2010.

Lagatia software helps create new financial accounting reports for restaurants and in turn increases profits, highlights problem areas, and presents accurate "all inclusive" daily emailable reports with minimum training and outside supervision. Lagatia software was created to take independent restaurant financial management to a higher standard -- not by a couple of steps, but with a dramatic leap forward.

Typical installation and training takes only a few hours depending on size of the business, but profits can already be seen during the post 15 day follow-up and at the 1 month marker.

"Lagatia software has become an integral part of my day-to-day operations. Lagatia allows me to not only dictate the current standing of the business, but I am also able to anticipate and predict the upcoming trends for our location. It is easy to use and easy to teach my employees what numbers they need to focus on," said Michael Durkin, manager of Kitchen 1924.

Pricing

Once installation is complete, the Lagatia software costs approximately $99 to $450 a month. Lagatia is currently taking pre-bookings for installation for the 2009 fiscal year.

About Ke'o Velasquez & Lagatia

While attending Hawaii Community College, Ke'o got bit with the cooking bug that launched his career into the hospitality industry. He graduated from HCC with an Associate in Applied Science & Certificate of Achievement, both with honors, as well as a Certificate for Outstanding Achievement. Since then, his cooking career has taken him across the globe from cooking competitions on the Food Network to consulting in Australia, and hundreds of mentoring hours that have included a stay on the USS Salvor (ARS-52). During the countless hours spent as line cook, chef, volunteer and consultant, Ke'o found a consistent problem that ran through almost all establishments: controlling cost. He decided that given the technology currently available, there must be a better way to solve the fundamental problems that plague the restaurant industry. Ke'o spent the next two years developing Lagatia's software to simplify the process of monitoring costs and ease financial problems. He plans to revolutionize the hospitality industry by making cost control virtually effortless.

Lagatia software was designed to minimize labor intensive accounting in the restaurant operations on a daily, weekly, monthly, and annual basis. The software provides extensive information on all aspects of daily operation, labor costs, sales mix, food costs & loss, and actual versus budgeting sales. All relevant information is calculated effectively which enables owners / operators to maximize profits and make necessary changes to reduce risk and focus on operational weaknesses. It is achieved "in house" without external accounting supervision and expense. All in all, Lagatia's goal is to empower its clients to exert minimum effort for maximum return.
